     ABOUT      

The Louisiana Rural Education Association (LREA) presents the 2026 Louisiana Rural Education Summit at Louisiana State University as a distinguished statewide convening of rural education leaders, researchers, policymakers, workforce partners, and community organizations. The Summit will connect research to practice while elevating rural voices and identifying actionable strategies for educator recruitment and retention, student pathways, workforce development, policy, innovation, and community sustainability.
