CMST Study Abroad Opportunity!

Coming Summer 2027 is the opportunity to study abroad in Rome and Florence, Italy! This study abroad opportunity includes guided tours of both the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Alongside these tours, you will also have access to the Brunelleschi Pass, which allows for viewings of the Duomo's Cupola, Bell Tower, Baptistry, Santa Reparata Crypt, and Duomo Museum!

Dr. Kellie Brisini - Research Competitiveness Grant

Dr. Kellie Brisini, assistant professor of interpersonal communication, received a 2023 Research Competitiveness Grant from the Louisiana Board of Regents. The grant will fund a three-year project that examines the ways in which caring for an aging adult influences the relationship between married partners. Three studies will culminate in a relationship-focused, communication intervention designed to help couples navigate the stressors associated with caregiving in complex environments.
