Margaret W. Piccoli is a lifelong educator, an author, and an improv enthusiast. Over
the last 25 years, Margaret has taught high school Spanish in the United States, English
as a World Language at Università Cattolica in Italy, and Italian at Ithaca College
in Ithaca, NY. She is currently a professor of practice at the School of Education
at Louisiana State University, where she teaches courses in World Language Education
and English as a Second Language. Her academic and teaching interests lie in second
language teaching methods, improvisation, and language acquisition through the theatre-arts.
